Tan-Gore Surgical prides itself on caring and friendly service and we aim to make your experience during your time with us stress-free and efficient.
​
We understand that seeing a Surgeon can be an intimidating and stressful process. It can be a period of uncertainty and doubt. You may have taken time off work and time out of your usual routine to attend your appointment with us. With this in mind, we analysed our process and we have endeavoured to streamline the experience for you.
​
Tan-Gore Surgical Services is a remote-organisation. This means that there is no Reception Desk service. When you arrive in our Broadmeadow location, please login via the Ipad at the Front Desk. We will be notified that you have arrived and either Karen, Darryl or Dr Tan-Gore will come to the waiting room when we are ready to see you for your consultation.

At Tan-Gore Surgical, we pride ourselves on being a predominantly paper-free organisation. From your initial referral to your consultation and everything in between, we gather information via phone, email or secure links. This reduces the risk of misplacing information and helps to ensure that Dr Tan-Gore has all your information available by the time of your appointment.
​
After your Consultation with Dr Tan-Gore, you will find a comfortable office to discuss your follow up and any procedures that require booking with either Karen or Darryl. This means that you can have these conversations in a safe and private space and that you have time to ask all o the questions that you need to.

OUR TEAM
Karen is our Clinical Services Manager; she may spend time with you after your consultation with Dr Tan-Gore where she will help guide you through any hospital procedures or further consultations that may be required.
She is available to answer questions and co-ordinate clinical aspects of Tan-Gore Surgical.
Karen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, experiencing all the cafés and restaurants in our beautiful city, she is a keen runner who enjoys early morning sunrises.
Darryl is our Business Manager.

He is committed to making your experience at Tan-Gore Surgical simple, streamlined and stress-free. He looks forward to providing you with a high standard of care on your journey back to health.
​
He is an avid golfer, brews his own beer, goes to the gym when he can, and enjoys a good BBQ
Ivy is our Practice Nurse
​
She has over 18 years experience as a Registered Nurse, specialising at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane in Plastics, Maxillofacial and Emergency Nursing. She will contact you 4-5 days after your surgery to check on the progress of your recovery. She is available to answer any post-surgery queries and will assist you in your road to recovery.

Ivy loves chasing sunsets, yoga, cats and is learning how to paint.
